The Investor Services Client Service & Support (CS&S) Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to build foundational client service, operational support, and professional skills while contributing to work that supports Schwab clients. This sourcing requisition represents the broader Investor Services Client Service & Support internship program. Interns may be hired into one of several Client Service & Support internship tracks based on business need, team alignment, and location.

Investor Services Client Service & Support teams play a critical role in delivering accurate, timely, and professional service within a highly regulated environment. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting client service operations through activities such as responding to client inquiries, researching account information, documenting actions accurately, supporting issue resolution efforts, and following established processes and escalation procedures. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will learn how structured execution, risk awareness, collaboration, and operational excellence help deliver quality outcomes for clients.

Throughout the program, you will strengthen your ability to communicate professionally, analyze information, solve problems using defined processes, manage work through completion, and collaborate effectively with teammates and business partners. You will also participate in professional development programming, networking opportunities, learning activities, feedback sessions, and community volunteering experiences designed to support long-term career growth. By the end of the internship, you will have gained valuable exposure to client service within a leading financial services organization while developing transferable business skills that can be applied across a variety of future career paths.

Required Qualifications
• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date aligned to internship eligibility requirements.

• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and accurately through coursework, work experience, projects, or extracurricular involvement.
• Ability to learn new systems, policies, and procedures and apply feedback effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality in completed work.
• Ability to follow structured processes, identify appropriate next steps, and escalate issues when needed.
• Demonstrated accountability, reliability, and commitment to completing assignments.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in customer service, client-facing support, operations, or a related environment through work, internships, volunteer activities, or leadership experiences.
