The Senior Director of Admission Analytics & Operations serves as a critical partner to the VP of Admissions & Marketing and is a member of the Admissions Leadership Team with the Senior Director of Undergraduate Admissions and the Director of Graduate Admissions. This team collectively is responsible for supporting enrollment success for the Undergraduate and On-Campus Graduate programs.

This role is essential in defining how data and systems support enrollment success across the institution, including for Undergraduate and Graduate student populations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Slate CRM management, CRM/SIS integrations, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize enrollment operations and inform strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Systems Management
  • Guide and manage the team responsible for the management and optimization of Slate CRM for Undergraduate and Graduate On-Campus Admissions, ensuring the instances effectively supports recruitment, application processing, and yield strategies.
  • Lead the strategic vision for how technology systems and data infrastructure support enrollment goals across undergraduate admissions, and on-campus graduate programs.
  • Partner with leadership in Continuing Professional Studies to identify areas for collaboration and shared learning.
  • Drive system enhancements, workflow improvements, and integration efforts to maximize CRM functionality and user adoption.
  • Serve as the primary liaison and collaborator with teams across the institution that utilize Slate and other systems (i.e. Banner SIS) for enrollment purposes, serving as the expert for undergraduate and on-campus graduate programs.
  • Facilitate shared learning opportunities, identify best practices, and promote resource alignment to achieve operational efficiencies across enrollment units.
  • Partner with IT, Institutional Research, and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity and system interoperability.
Analytics & Enrollment Optimization
  • Guide and manage the Associate Director of Admission Analytics to support the VP of Admissions & Marketing in leveraging data intelligence to optimize enrollment.
  • Collaborate with Admissions leadership to conduct comprehensive funnel analysis to identify enrollment bottlenecks, conversion opportunities, and areas for strategic intervention.
  • Partner with AD of Admission Analytics in the development and ongoing maintenance of dashboards, reports, and predictive models that inform enrollment strategy and tactical decision-making.
  • Be a thought partner in translating complex data findings into actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders across the enrollment ecosystem.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of 5-7 professional staff responsible for CRM administration, data management, reporting, and operational support.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Ensure team members have the training, resources, and support needed to excel in their roles.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Sciences, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in enrollment operations, CRM management, and/or analytics within higher education.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience leading technical or operational teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Slate CRM or comparable enrollment management platforms.
  • Experience with CRM/SIS integrations, ideally Slate to Banner.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to work with large datasets, conduct statistical analysis, and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience guiding the development of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for diverse stakeholder audiences.
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and complex initiatives.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and relationship building.
Preferred:
  • Experience managing CRM implementations, migrations, or large-scale system optimization projects.
  • Knowledge of marketing attribution models and ROI analysis methodologies.
  • Familiarity with SQL, data warehouse concepts, and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Understanding of enrollment management strategies, student lifecycle marketing, and higher education recruitment best practices.
