Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pest control, strong customer service skills, and a natural desire to serve others.


This position requires a proactive approach to customer service and the ability to work independently while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of clients.


Responsibilities


  • Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity, ensuring that you represent the company positively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, enhancing the company’s reputation through excellent service and communication.
  • Meet with customers to explain pest control actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and recommend additional services as needed. Act as a trusted advisor to address concerns and provide peace of mind regarding their pest management program.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of both the interior and exterior of the customer’s property to identify pest issues. Use problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective treatment solutions, ensuring long-term pest control success.
  • Follow the route and daily operation schedule efficiently, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location while balancing the needs of the route.
  • Prioritize safety in all tasks. This includes handling pesticides and equipment safely, following proper safety protocols when performing inspections, and ensuring the safe operation of the company vehicle.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations, making sure to observe and adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and rules while operating company vehicles. Safe and responsible driving is essential to maintaining a safe working environment and upholding the reputation of the company.
  • Follow company guidelines regarding the proper use, maintenance, and security of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Accurately complete all required service-related documentation in a timely manner using the provided handheld device. Ensure that records are precise, up to company standards, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously develop the skills and knowledge necessary to perform pest control services effectively. Stay adaptable to changing customer needs, emerging pest trends, and industry best practices.


Qualifications


  • Branch 2 Applicator or Field Representative License
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • A commitment to professionalism and integrity
  • Physical ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Willingness to learn and obtain required certifications
