Description
Position Scope:
This Sales Operations Coordinator provides critical support to the Sales Operations team by facilitating the quoting, billing, and delivery processes for compact equipment. The role serves as a key liaison between sales, service, transportation, and inventory teams to ensure operational efficiency and a seamless customer experience. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and a working knowledge of OEM programs and internal systems. The position also supports front-line customer interactions, contributing to overall sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to shared goals and fostering positive relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong mathematical skills required, with the ability to perform calculations and solve complex problems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to maintain composure and clarity when handling challenging or high-stress interactions.

Education Requirements:
Four year degree required with concentration in business administration, supply chain management or related field. Relevant work experience can replace education requirement.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Generate quotes for new compact machines.
  • Process billing for new compact machine sales.
  • Coordinate demo setups and no-charge agreements.
  • Collaborate with service and transportation teams to ensure machines are prepped and delivered.
  • Work with yard personnel to facilitate machine prep and customer pickups.
  • Monitor no-charge inventory and follow up with sales reps to ensure timely resolution.
  • Review work orders for new machine deals to verify cost accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Maintain expertise in OEM and partner marketing programs; apply incentives appropriately and secure necessary approvals for claims.
  • Communicate regularly with the inventory management team regarding machine needs and sales trends.

Secondary Responsibilities
  • Assist walk-in customers.
  • Respond to inbound customer calls.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Office suite is required. Salesforce and DBS experience is preferred.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to pass background check, physical exam and drug screening test.

Work Environment:
Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, employees must be careful while performing onsite services.
