Operations Associate (Part-time, 19 hours a week)

Shrine Catholic High School amp; Academy is located in Royal Oak, Michigan, at the corner of 13 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue. Since 1938, Shrine Catholic Schools have provided a high-quality Catholic education rooted in faith, academic excellence, service, leadership, athletics, and the arts. Shrine is known for its strong community, dedicated faculty, and supportive administration.
Position Summary
Shrine Catholic High School amp; Academy seeks a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Operations Associate to support the daily communications at the school. This highly visible position serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, faculty, staff, and visitors while helping ensure the smooth operation of the school office.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational skills who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and supporting a dynamic school community.
Essential Responsibilities
● Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails and respond to general inquiries.
● Assist students and parents with daily needs and school-related questions.
● Support attendance, student sign-in/sign-out, and front office procedures.
● Coordinate visitor check-in and maintain front office security procedures.
● Assist with coordination of school and admissions events.
● Maintain calendars, schedules, and administrative records.
● Assist school administrators with special projects and operational needs.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree preferred.
● Experience in office administration, education, hospitality, or related fields preferred.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general office technology.
● Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
Compensation: Hourly wage commensurate with experience.
