Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented rental fleet operations associate to join our team at the Salt Lake International Airport. This position plays a key role in the daily operations by ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of all vehicles in the rental fleet. This position involves inspecting, moving, and maintaining rental vehicles, as well as supporting the customer service and operations teams to ensure a smooth and efficient rental experience.

Vehicle Preparation & Maintenance
  • Clean the interior and exterior of rental vehicles to meet company and customer standards. 
  • Refuel vehicles and check essential fluid levels (oil, washer fluid, coolant).
  • Perform visual inspections to identify damage or needed maintenance and report findings promptly. 
  • Ensure every vehicle is in excellent condition and ready for rental. 
Lot Organization
  • Park and arrange vehicles on the lot according to inventory guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly lot appearance and assist with snow or debris removal as needed (especially during winter months in Utah).
  • Assist with checking in and checking out rental vehicles during busy periods. 
Support & Logistics
  • Shuttle vehicles between local branches, airport facilities, and maintenance shops as needed.
  • Assist with vehicle inventory tracking, audits, and lot checks.
  • Communicate effectively with operations and service teams about vehicle availability and needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred. 
  • Valid Utah driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable driving a wide range of vehicles (cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans).
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions including cold, snow, and heat.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check and drug screen.  
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and moving for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and safely operate vehicles throughout the day.
