Primary Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Associate to support the operational functions of our Trust Administration team.


This role is responsible for managing operational workflows, supporting trust account administration, processing account activity, and ensuring operational accuracy across fiduciary and investment accounts. The ideal candidate is analytical, process-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional internal and client service while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.


What This Role Looks Like

This position supports the daily operational activities that keep our trust and wealth management services running efficiently. You will work closely with Trust Officers and internal teams to process transactions, maintain trust records, reconcile accounts, coordinate asset transfers, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.


Trust Operations

  • Manage operational workflows to ensure timely and accurate processing of trust and investment account activity.
  • Receive and verify daily money movement reconciliation reports.
  • Reconcile internal fiduciary accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Generate operational reports and distribute them to the appropriate Trust Officers.
  • Open and close client accounts within the trust accounting system.
  • Coordinate asset transfers and document receipt of assets.
  • Process management invoices as directed.
  • Support securities processing and trust accounting activities.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Proactively review, analyze, and recommend improvements to operational processes.
  • Promote operational efficiencies while ensuring compliance with established procedures and internal controls.
  • Assist with workflow documentation and standardization.
  • Coordinate contingency planning by ensuring team members understand cross-functional responsibilities and can provide workflow coverage when necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance operational effectiveness.


Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of operations experience within a wealth management, trust company, registered investment advisor (RIA), or broker/dealer environment.
  • Understanding of securities processing and trust accounting.
  • Local market experience preferred.
  • CSOP, CTOP®, ATOP, or CTFA certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
