Job description

Position Title: Operations Associate
Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000 / Year, DOE
The best client experiences are built on flawless execution behind the scenes. We are seeking a detail-driven Operations Associate to join an established independent wealth management firm and support the critical operational work that keeps client accounts accurate, organized, and moving forward.
This role focuses on processing account paperwork, IRA distributions, wires, checks, and other financial transactions while maintaining accurate documentation across multiple systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and systematic, with strong administrative skills and the discipline to handle financial information where accuracy matters.
Responsibilities
• Process IRA distributions, wires, checks, check requests, and other account-related transactions
• Review and process account paperwork submitted by Client Service Associates and Financial Planners
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation, notes, and client files across internal systems
• Ensure requests and paperwork are processed accurately and in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Coordinate operational activities involving custodians and internal team members
• Manage multiple requests and priorities efficiently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy
• Support the Operations team with additional administrative and account-processing needs
Requirements
• 2+ years of office administration experience
• Financial services experience within wealth management, brokerage, RIA, or a related environment strongly preferred
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel formulas
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and time management
• Ability to follow structured processes and manage detail-sensitive financial transactions with accuracy
• Proactive mindset with a genuine desire to learn new systems, procedures, and workflows
• Bachelor's degree preferred but relevant professional experience will be considered in place of a degree
