The AWS Cloud Logistics team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Specialist in Bellevue WA to manage the day to day warehousing operations for the fastest growing industries in the world while working on projects to further enhance our operation. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers

An ideal candidate has a background in logistics, warehouse management, and excellent data driven problem resolution skills. They have the ability to work with external partners/influence others, pull and analyze data with ease, drive process improvements, standardize processes, and eliminate the root cause of defects within the current systems. This job will require solid communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

(Ability to present data and use advance formulas in Excel)
You own decisions from inception to implementation.

Key job responsibilities
Engage in daily tactical communication with external vendors (Logistics Service Providers) and internal customers
Leading large projects independently
Travel to audit warehouses throughout NALA (mostly domestic USA)
Analyze data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform reporting and analysis as needed
Publish performance metrics to assist with driving business results
Quickly and efficiently understand the business impact of observed trends and make decisions based on available data
Identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazon's transportation operations
Work with multiple stakeholder teams in the Supply Chain to jointly solve problems and implementing standards
Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs
