About the role

The Logistics Manager oversees the end-to-end supply chain operations for the Americas, providing strategic leadership across warehousing, distribution, third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships, and inventory control. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, optimizing inventory levels, ensuring financial accuracy, and leading a high-performing team that includes direct oversight of the Inventory Controls Manager.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Team Management

Inspire and lead a multi-layered supply chain and inventory team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.

Define overall logistics and inventory strategy, setting high standards for physical inventory audits, warehouse operations, and reconciliation processes.

Demonstrate strong reporting and analytical skills, publishing a monthly dashboard of key logistics and inventory KPIs to senior leadership.

Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, evaluate, and implement strategic supply chain initiatives, special projects (e.g., RFPs, warehouse moves, retail-specific kitting projects), and process improvements.

3PL Management & Warehouse Operations

Establish, maintain, and manage comprehensive inventory movement and fulfillment processes with third-party logistics providers.

Manage relationships with 3PL warehouses across the Americas, developing and driving best practices, operational efficiency, and performance SLAs.

Effectively communicate expectations and needs to maintain accurate inventory levels and seamless material flow.

Support refurbishment operations via inventory transaction management, rigorous process improvement, and engaged partnerships.

Oversee the inventory control function through the Inventory Controls Manager, ensuring high transaction accuracy and swift discrepancy resolution in SAP.

Own the annual physical inventory count, including developing work instructions, analyzing results, and reporting to senior leadership per internal policies.

Support the month-end-close process by reviewing inventory reports, variance analyses, and financial reconciliations.

Manage the retailer return process, ensuring credits are issued accurately and timely while analyzing trends to report actionable insights to senior leadership.

Provide internal and external auditors with all required documentation and compliance verification.

Systems & Process Optimization

Determine proper processes for non-standard transactions, clearly defining and communicating requirements to internal and external stakeholders.

Partner with system teams to modify and advance SAP functionality, minimizing manual interventions and streamlining data integrity.

About you

7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management.

5+ years of experience working within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company.

3+ years of supervisory/management experience, including leading teams and managing managers.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, accounting, or a related field.

Advanced experience in SAP and enterprise resource planning systems.

Prior experience managing month-end-close processes and financial reconciliations within supply chain.

Strong working knowledge of end-to-end product flow, warehousing, and transportation processes.

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with 3PLs, managed services, and executive leadership.

Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complex challenges, minimize operational impact, and deliver results.

Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a detail-oriented approach.

Proven ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities effectively, demonstrate strong follow-through, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
