JOB TITLE:                          Data Analytics Manager

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:       Full-time, 40 hours/week

SCHEDULED HOURS:       Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM

PROGRAM/LOCATION:   Windsor, CT, Hybrid schedule with 3 days in-office and 2 remote

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analytics Operations & Coordination:
      • Coordinate day-to-day analytics, reporting, and data submission activities across the team
      • Serve as the central intake point for analytics and reporting requests
      • Translate organizational needs into clearly defined deliverables and prioritize work in alignment with organizational goals
      • Ensure alignment and coordination across analytics, data support, and technical functions
    • Data Analytics:
      • Oversee and guide the design and execution of data analyses to support program and administrative operations; provide direct analytical support as needed
      • Oversee the development and delivery of reports, dashboards and analyses to support operational and strategic decision-making
      • Collaborate with cross-functional and technical partners to define reporting needs and validate outputs
      • Support the development and implementation of reporting tools and dashboards aligned with organizational needs
      • Support advanced analytics, reporting development, and team capability building including staff development
    • Performance Improvement and Organizational Initiatives Support:
      • Coordinate analytics and reporting support for performance improvement, CQI, strategic initiatives, and outcome measurement across the organization
      • Support development and implementation of standardized performance metrics
    • Reporting Operations (Internal & External):
      • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to external funding organizations in compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
      • Ensure internal stakeholders receive timely, relevant, and actionable reporting to support operational, clinical, and strategic decision-making
      • Oversee reporting workflows to ensure consistency, completeness, and reliability of output
    • Data Governance & Standardization:
      • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for analytics workflows, including intake, development, validation, and distribution
      • Establish and maintain consistent definitions, formats, and standards for reports, dashboards and performance metrics used across the organization
      • Promote standardized reporting practices across programs and departments to ensure consistency in how data is interpreted and used
      • Ensure alignment between reporting standards and underlying data structures through coordination with appropriate technical partners
    • Data Quality Oversight:
      • Oversee data quality monitoring and improvement efforts led by Data Support staff
      • Identify systemic data issues and coordinate resolution with program staff and appropriate technical partners
      • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to investigate and resolve data discrepancies and reporting limitations
      • Ensure alignment between internal data systems and reporting output
    • Other:
      • Participate in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and organizational initiatives as assigned
      • Additional duties as required

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information System, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience in data analytics, reporting or performance improvement.

    Experience: 5 to 7 years’ experience in data analytics, reporting, data management, or performance improvement. Prior experience supervising or leading analytics or data support staff. Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, or nonprofit environments preferred. Demonstrated experience developing and supporting dashboards and reporting tools for operational and strategic use

    Technical Skills: Required: Demonstrated experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms, including development and use of dashboards and reports. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL or similar database structures required. Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools preferred. Experience working with analytical or data processing tools (e.g., Python or similar) preferred.

    Knowledge/Skills: Strong understanding of data analytics, reporting, data quality, and performance measurement principles. Experience with data visualization and dashboard design best practices. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational, prioritization, and project management skills. Experience collaborating with cross-functional and technical partners. Demonstrated ability to support or implement standardized reporting processes and analytics workflows.

    COMPENSATION*:      

    Starting at $71,463.39/annually minimum and up commensurate upon experience. 

    *Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based off of relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
