Job description

Position title : Subject Matter Expert (Joint Special Operations) Location : Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty), NC Clearance required : SECRET Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): * Provide expert-level Joint Special Operations input to the development and execution of training exercise scenarios. * Advise planning teams on SOF doctrine, joint operational processes, interagency coordination, and multinational integration. * Support scenario design that replicates complex global SOF missions, including UW, IW, MCE operations, and joint task force dynamics. * Ensure training realism by incorporating emerging threats, strategic guidance, and joint planning considerations. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree. * Graduate of a U.S. Army SF, MISO, Civil Affairs, or MI Officer course (or service equivalent) AND graduate of a U.S. military intermediate or senior level service school; graduate of a Joint Forces Staff College program--JPME-II, Joint Advanced Warfighting School, or Joint/Interagency/Multinational Planner's Course. * 2 years in SOF HQ staff positions performing joint operations; 1 year of MCE experience focusing on TSOC and/or JSOTF scenarios. Desired/Preferred Qualifications: * JSOU (or equivalent) courses--Irregular Warfare Applied Intelligence, Joint Civil-Military Operations Campaign Planning Workshop, SOF Resource Management, and/or IW Advanced Course; knowledge of National Security/Military Strategy, Joint Operating Environment, and UW campaign planning.
