Where you will work: This position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% remote and is open to any Compeer office location in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The contributions you will make: This position provides leadership and direction for operational support functions, data management and technology-enabled solutions that support appraisal services and related business functions. The incumbent contributes to the formulation of operational strategies while directly establishing governance practices and performance expectations that ensure efficient, scalable and high-quality service delivery. Through leadership of team leaders, cross-functional partnership and continuous improvement initiatives, this position drives operational performance, organizational readiness and achievement of business objectives.
A typical day:
  • Provides leadership, coaching and direction to staff to achieve operational and business objectives.
  • Contributes to the development of operational strategies and priorities, while establishing the tactical performance measures that align service delivery with organizational goals.
  • Establishes governance, policies, procedures and quality standards that promote consistency, compliance and operational effectiveness.
  • Oversees workforce planning, workload forecasting and resource allocation to support current and future business needs.
  • Directs continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, scalability and service quality.
  • Evaluates operational performance, service metrics and trends to support informed decision-making and achievement of business results.
  • Partners with business, technology and operational leaders to support the execution of strategic initiatives, technology solutions and process enhancements.
  • Leads communication, change management and organizational readiness efforts related to operational and technology initiatives for the department.

The skills and experience we prefer you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Agribusiness or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Seven or more years of experience in financial services, appraisal operations, data management, technology support or a related operational support function.
  • Three or more years of leadership experience with responsibility for team performance, operational outcomes or people management.
  • Experience leading operational improvement, business process optimization or strategic initiatives, required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience leading leaders or multiple operational teams, preferred.
  • Experience with appraisal or valuation processes and related business applications, preferred.
  • Experience supporting technology implementations, operational transformations or organizational change initiatives, preferred.
  • Advanced leadership skills to develop, engage and empower team members while fostering accountability and organizational performance.
  • Advanced skills to develop operational strategies and translate business goals into measurable results.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to evaluate operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced collaboration and relationship management skills to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple functions and levels of the organization.
  • Solid knowledge of process improvement methodologies and operational best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong knowledge of appraisal, valuation or related operational processes.
  • Experience leading technology-enabled process improvement and change management initiatives.

The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.
