Job description

[Job Summary]

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Accounting Manager to lead the financial and cost accounting functions for our new automotive parts manufacturing facility. This role is critical in establishing the financial foundation of the plant, including ERP implementation, and seamless reporting to Headquarters (HQ). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between shop-floor manufacturing data and high-level financial strategy.

[Job Description]

Key Responsibilities

- Manufacturing Cost Accounting & Analysis:

o Perform monthly variance analysis (Material, Labor, and Overhead) to identify inefficiencies and provide actionable insights to management.

o Monitor inventory valuation and manage physical inventory audit processes.

- HQ Reporting & Financial Closing:

o Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes in accordance with IFRS/Local GAAP.

o Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial packages and ad-hoc analysis reports to Global HQ.

o Ensure all reporting meets HQ deadlines and quality standards.

- ERP Implementation & System Setup:

o Act as a key functional lead for the ERP (SAP) Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) modules during the plant setup phase.

o Establish internal control procedures and accounting workflows from scratch.

- Tax & Treasury Management:

o Oversee corporate tax compliance, VAT filings, and local tax requirements.

o Manage cash flow forecasting and local banking relationships to ensure operational liquidity.

- External Audit & Compliance:

o Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and ensure successful completion of annual audits.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (4-year degree required).

- Experience: 7?10 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (Automotive industry experience is a strong plus).

- Technical Skills: * Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP experience is highly preferred).

o Deep understanding of Cost Accounting and Management Accounting.

o Advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis and financial modeling.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for effective HQ reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
