Position Summary

Ram Jack is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting team. This position supports the Accounting department by assisting with day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the efficiency of daily accounting operations.  The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Process account payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments. 
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Enter and maintain financial data within accounting software. 
  • Prepare reports and assist with other accounting projects as needed.
  • Communicate with vendors and customers regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries.
  • Support internal and external audits by organizing and providing requested documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling financial and sensitive company information.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • One or two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, SAP, or similar)
