The IT Analyst at LSU Athletics will oversee the technology platforms within our operations to provide great guest experience to help drive forward business success based on world class solutions & operations. As an IT Analyst you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining point-of-sale (POS) maintenance and supporting critical business applications ranging from labor, food management, digital menu boards, and catering systems utilized in the hospitality industry. 

COMPENSATION: The Salaried rate for this position is $63,000.00 to $67,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

   Provides technical support of the application, interfaces, and any customizations
   Monitors support issues, executes resolution plans, and reports progress to management
   Manage and maintain point of sales system and devices to ensure operable for processing transactions on event days
   Manage vendors in the implementation and support of applications
   Oversee seasonal opening and operational shutdowns as necessary
   Provides excellent customer service, especially during event support
   Proactively maintains systems and executes preventative maintenance plans
   Monitors system status and reacts to issues as they arise
   Review systems, programs, and applications to increase operating efficiency or to adapt to new requirements
   Ensures that all documentation is proactively updated to reflect current systems and processes
   Adhere to version control guidelines and ensure operational risk is minimized accordingly
   Participate in technical and functional training classes as necessary or required
   Oversee 1-2 Direct reports, providing training and support

Qualifications

   2 to 5+ years of experience in information technology in a formal Information Technology role or relevant experience in working with technology solutions in a hospitality business
   Proven ability to effectively lead and meet business objectives in a global, collaborative, and high-performance work environment
   Knowledgeable in compliance and information security
   Process-oriented with project management skills
   Candidate must have proven ability to resolve issues, mitigate roadblocks, and meets all financial and management goals on time consistently and collaboratively
   Business acumen with the ability to understand business priorities, operations, and IT enablement potential
   Strong oral, written communication and interpersonal skills, relationship building, managerial and collaboration skills
   Knowledge of point-of-sale systems - Micros, SpotOn (Appetize), Clover Sport (Bypass), VenueNext, Tapin2, Mashgin preferred
   Familiar with ServiceNow platform for Incident and Request management
   Experience in Hospitality, Sports, Retail, Restaurant (Casual Dining, Fast Casual or QSR), or other consumer-facing industry
   Available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule, and able to travel between properties
   Associate or Bachelor's degree with a concentration in IT or related discipline, or equivalent training
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
