About the Role
The Divisional Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for leading initiatives that improve all aspects of operational performance across the division. The ideal candidate will be well versed in lean, six-sigma, and other process improvement methodologies and use these skills to lead and train the organization to reduce waste, improve efficiencies, and drive quantifiable changes throughout the organization.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects across manufacturing sites to drive process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Analyze current processes, identify, and quantify inefficiencies, and implement improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Develop and implement a Loss Deployment framework and process for the division
  • Identify, prioritize, and recommend projects using loss deployment methodologies.
  • Track the team's performance across all operational excellence pillars and ensure value is being added by the projects selected. Present monthly progress to the Vice President of Operations
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute solution strategies to achieve production and cost targets.
  • Develop a framework to manage the division's performance against a "World Class" Operations Management standard. Audit periodically to this framework, identifying, planning and closing gaps to standard.
  • Track KPls to ensure the sustainability of improvements.
  • Provide training and coaching on continuous improvement principles to employees at all levels.
  • Develop a team of problem solvers that fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Manage and report on project timelines, resources, and expected outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Foster a positive and safe work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business Management; or equivalent related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in continuous improvement, plant management, Industrial Engineering, or related role
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proven track record of leading successful improvement initiatives with measurable results.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to drive change within an organization

Additional Expectation
  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

Work Environment:
This is a full-time position with a combination of office work and frequent interaction with manufacturing operations. Travel (up to 50%) will be required to various divisional sites, supplier locations, or customer facilities.
