This role is responsible for leading the successful delivery of client engagements while building trusted advisor relationships and driving exceptional outcomes. The Consulting Manager partners with clients to understand business challenges, guide solution strategies, and ensure projects are delivered with quality, value, and measurable impact. This individual brings a strong consulting background, balancing handsโ€‘on expertise, project leadership, team development, and client relationship management to help clients achieve their objectives.

The Consulting Manager oversees engagements from planning through execution, collaborating with crossโ€‘functional teams to deliver results that align with client goals and Centric's standards of excellence. They serve as a key point of contact for clients, proactively managing expectations, resolving issues, identifying opportunities to expand value, and fostering longโ€‘term partnerships. In addition to delivering client success, this role contributes to practice growth through mentoring team members, developing capabilities, supporting business development activities, and helping strengthen Centric's market presence.

In this role, you will: Delivery
  • Manage aspects of complex project life cycles, from analysis and design to process improvement and change management.
  • Contribute handsโ€‘on expertise where needed to ensure highโ€‘quality outcomes.
  • Support resolution of project issues and adapt to scope changes across phases.
  • Collaborate with crossโ€‘functional delivery teams to deliver impactful business results.
  • Help establish and monitor key milestones and deliverables.
  • Partner with internal teams and third parties on project administration, including staffing, billing, and account management.
Business Development
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Contribute to strategies and proposals that expand client partnerships.
  • Support creation of proposals, business cases, and knowledge artifacts that showcase value and thought leadership.
Practice Management
  • Participate in capability development, market strategy, and operational improvements.
  • Lead and mentor teams, fostering collaboration, growth, and alignment with company mission.
  • Stay connected to the company through involvement in events and initiatives beyond client delivery.
Who You Are:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus.
  • 5โ€“7 years of experience managing professional services projects and client relationships.
  • Strong background in business or technology consulting (e.g., process improvement, data & analytics, ERP, CRM, customer experience).
  • Skilled in project and team management, with flexibility in role and approach.
  • Passionate about mentoring, collaboration, and delivering measurable results.
