Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team at Insolation Technology LTD,
an established engineering consulting firm. The Data Analyst will be
responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to support
project decisions, improve operational efficiency, and provide insights
that drive strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong
analytical background, proficiency in data analysis tools, and excellent
communication skills.

Note: This position is strictly open to candidates within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Management: Gather, clean, and maintain datasets from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Data Analysis:
    Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that
    support project management, operational efficiency, and strategic
    initiatives.
  • Reporting and Visualization:
    Create comprehensive reports and dashboards using data visualization
    tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and other
    departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable
    insights.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project performance and operational efficiency.
  • Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques to analyze data and forecast future trends.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization based
    on data analysis and provide recommendations to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in an engineering consulting or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent
    communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to
    present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with engineering concepts or terminology is a plus.
