Job description

Administrative Assistant Remote Role

Immediate need for an Operations Assistant that will be responsible for a variety of detail oriented responsibilities that are of high importance to efficient operations of this fast growing chemical distribution company. This position will report to the Operations Director and have the opportunity to learn all facets of the business. Join a tenured team in a very stable growing business where you will benefit from hands on training/support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review Operations A/P schedules and update spreadsheet weekly with any date changes.
  • Assist with pricing changes and all affected areas that need to be adjusted.
  • Assist with data integrity projects
  • Oversee the documents library with the goal of consistent accurate labeling.
  • Serve in Operator role for incoming calls
  • Assist with safety data sheets
  • Serve as backup for receiving new orders
  • Other special projects as needed

Position Requirements:

  • Associates Degree preferred but experience will be considered
  • A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Must be agreeable to a variety of repetitive tasks where focus is required and accuracy is critical
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel
