Job Description 6 Degrees Group is recruiting for an Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Manager in Alpharetta, GA. This role is with a growing construction/design-build organization and calls for a hands-on leader who can run full-cycle AP and AR while managing a sizable team. The company needs someone who can bring structure to a fast-paced environment, mentoring 12-15 AP Clerks and Construction Project Accountants while staying deeply involved in day-to-day financial operations.

Strong construction industry experience is essential, particularly around AIA billing, retainage, and subcontractor compliance. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned accounting leader who wants both strategic ownership and a direct hand in the details. Responsibilities: Supervise and mentor a team of AP Clerks and Construction Project Accountants Oversee full-cycle AP and AR functions, including month-end close and internal controls Manage project accounting and billing, including AIA billing, job costing, and lien waiver compliance Resolve escalated vendor and billing disputes while identifying process improvement opportunities Qualifications: 5+ years of progressive accounting management experience, including 3+ years in a direct supervisory role Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Direct experience in construction, design-build, or real estate development required Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks or mid-tier construction ERPs (NetSuite, Sage, MS Dynamics 365) and Excel.
