Responsibilities

We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join the Arete Res leadership team. Reporting to the President/COO, this position will be responsible for assisting in various operational functions, projects, and platform management for our portfolio of properties. The position will require approximately 25% of travel throughout our portfolio.

Scope of duties will vary according to projects and assignments but may include assisting at corporate level or on-site management functions.

  • Assisting in the development and distribution of property operations resources
  • Implementing the propertyโ€™s strategic marketing plan
  • Assisting in leasing efforts and strategy for marketing implementation
  • Ensure property management software is accurate, up to date at all times, and being utilized to its fullest functionality
  • Assist Regional Vice President and Regionals to build a team of highly motivated, skilled and productive individuals who work well with others. Consistently maintain professional quality of management, communication, and reporting
  • Provide first-class customer service to prospects and residents. Ensure that all resident requests are handled promptly and professionally. Create professional and friendly office environment
  • Perform lease processing and administration, and other administrative duties as needed
  • Serve as an Arete Res Culture Ambasador
  • Assist with the development of the companyโ€™s core strategic plan
  • Fill on for various open positions as needed for properties within the portfolio
  • Perform other job duties as requested by Supervisor

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree, or 3-5 yearsโ€™ experience in student housing with supervisory role/higher management; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • An entrepreneurial mindset-you're creative and will challenge the status quo to meet the needs of our residents and our company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and analytical skillsIntermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Resman software.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
