Our Facilities Team builds long-term relationships with clients and service providers, ensuring every service request is handled efficiently and professionally. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences while helping our clients keep their businesses running smoothly.

We are currently seeking a Facilities Account Manager Trainee to join our growing team at our corporate headquarters in Stilwell, Kansas. This is an in-office position.

Position Summary

As a Facilities Account Manager Trainee, you will serve as the primary point of contact for client service requests. In this role, you will coordinate with clients and service providers to ensure facility issues are resolved quickly, efficiently, and in accordance with service level expectations.

Success in this position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A Day in The Life of a ROYAL Facilities Account Manager Trainee

  • Manage daily service requests and coordinate with service providers to ensure work is completed according to client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide proactive communication regarding service status, resolutions, timelines, and expectations.
  • Clearly communicate client requirements, preferences, and SLA expectations to service providers to support successful outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate service order information and activity dashboards, tracking open, pending, and completed work.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Royal and service providers to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor service orders and project activities to ensure they are completed within scope, schedule, and budget expectations.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and overall service delivery.
  • Ensure service orders and supporting documentation are submitted to Quality Assurance within established timelines.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to exceed client expectations and achieve company goals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience (KSAs)

A Successful Candidate Brings

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years of customer service experience
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with business software, including databases, ticketing systems, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow professionally
  • Preferred KSAs
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One (1) year of experience in facilities management, call center operations, insurance claims, dispatching, customer success, or a related field
  • One (1) year of project management experience
  • One (1) year of vendor management experience
  • Knowledge of retail facility maintenance processes and service delivery systems
  • Familiarity with the U.S. retail and facilities management industries
  • Project management experience
