Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse
Location: Powell River, BC
Contract Length: flexible
Shifts Available: Days and Nights, 8s and 12s

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse to join a high-performing perioperative team in Powell River, BC. This contract opportunity is ideal for an OR nurse who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and brings strong experience across multiple surgical specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care throughout surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain operating rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care
  • Maintain sterile technique and uphold infection prevention standards
  • Monitor patient status and advocate for patient safety throughout the perioperative process
  • Support surgical workflow and contribute to positive patient outcomes across a variety of cases
Qualifications
  • Active BCCNM RN License
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
  • Operating Room Certification required
