Job description

Administrative and operational server support, project support; incident, change and problem management implementation & resolution, operating system security management, installation, configuration, upgrade of a multi-platform environment which includes Microsoft Windows, UNIX, and Linux; Function as a member of the team responsible for the day-to-day, 24x7x365 on-call system administration, and touch labor operations. To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: Bachelors degree or four additional years of related experience in addition to the minimum years listed below. 6 years of Windows Server Administration experience.

6 years of Windows Operating System experience. Demonstrated Knowledge of HP/IBM/Dell server hardware, Service Management Tool, Microsoft Cluster Services, Windows scripting, Symantec AV, Sophos AV, and/or TSM or NetBackup enterprise backup solutions. Must be willing to work any shift.

Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: ITIL, SAN storage technologies, Citrix, VMWare, Microsoft Windows security fundamentals. Microsoft Certifications such as MCSE or MCSA.

A current Secret Clearance is preferred.
