***Sign on Bonus for full time hire is $10,000
***Relocation for full time hire if you qualify within guidelines $7,000
The Operating Room has up to 12 anesthesia provided rooms, including 2 Open Heart rooms and 1 Urology room equipped with fluoroscopy. Specialty services include ENT/ORAL, General, Plastic, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Urology, Thoracic/Vascular, Neurosurgery, Pain, Open Heart, Robotics and endoscopic, and minimally invasive surgery by specialty. The Operating Room strives to meet the surgical needs of the surrounding counties and its physicians by providing compassionate, high quality surgical services ranging from ambulatory procedures to high acuity procedures for adults and pediatrics.
Job Summary: The Technician performs assigned preoperative duties to assist the surgical team. Duties are to assist with set-up and preparation of the OR cases, assist during surgical procedures, participate in case completion activities, etc.

Minimum Requirements: :
  • Graduate from an approved school of Operating Room Technology or Surgical Technology
  • Certification in Operating Room Technology or Surgical Technology is required.
  • Ability to relate effectively to patients, their families, physicians, staff and all others using proper channels of communication
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's/area's/department's policies and procedures
  • Must maintain current CPR certification 6. Participate in volunteer opportunities
