Surgical Care Tech

Department: Operating Room - In our Operating Room at Chelsea, more than 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the fields of gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery.

Location: Chelsea, MI

Pay: $15.79-22.11 per hour based upon applicable experience + applicable shift premiums (when working afternoons, overnights and/or weekends)

Position Purpose:

The Surgical Care Tech cleans and disinfects operating room equipment as assigned. Performs housekeeping duties (Cleaning stretchers, equipment, terminally cleaning of the Surgical Department, etc.)

Shift Available: 3pm-11:30pm

Status Available: Full time, benefit eligible (80 hours per pay period - every two weeks)

On call required one weekend every couple months

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school diploma
  • A minimum of one-year previous related experience.
