American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring Level 1 trauma experience, Epic proficiency, and independent skill in transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases.
Job Details
• Large hospital Operating Room setting with Level 1 trauma designation,
• Handles most surgical services, especially transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases,
• Uses Epic EMR system,
• 12-hour day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM,
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment,
• Call requirements approximately 3 times per month, including weeknight and weekend call shifts,
• No floating or charge responsibilities required,
Job Requirements
• Active MA RN license required in hand,
• Minimum of 5+ years of Operating Room nursing experience required,
• Level 1 trauma center experience required,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• Large hospital experience required,
• Independent competency in transplant, cardiac, and vascular surgical cases required,
Additional Information
• Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties,
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted,
• Candidates must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months before returning,
• Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed,
• Tele/ECG and medication competency testing required for certain campus locations
