Job description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Pediatric CVOR RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring recent pediatric cardiac surgery experience.
Job Details
• Work in a Pediatric OR within an 8-OR surgical unit staffed by a Charge RN, RNs, CSTs, and Anesthesia providers,
• Day shift hours of operation from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with an on-call team covering nights,
• Typical patient ratio of 1:1, though not guaranteed,
• Uses Belmont Rapid Fusion equipment,
• Charting performed in Meditech / CPN,
• Unit performs a variety of procedures including Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Spine, General, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics, and Cardiac cases,
• 13-week assignment with a 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift schedule,
Job Requirements
• Active RN license (Colorado or Compact) required,
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Pediatric CVOR RN experience required,
• Cardiac / open heart surgery experience required,
• Pediatrics and CVOR/Cardiac experience preferred,
• Ability to function across multiple service lines preferred,
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration,
• One professional reference required,
Additional Information
• Manage the operating room, assist surgeons, monitor vital signs, and provide pre- and post-operative patient care,
• Work alongside supportive service line leaders and an experienced surgical team,
• Strong teamwork, communication with staff and providers, and a patient-care focused mindset are valued,
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
