Responsibilities
  • Receives verbal/written assignments from RN/LPN
  • Reports any changes in patient condition to RN/LPN.
  • Cleans equipment between each patient use.
  • Operates unit equipment as required; runs unit errands as needed.
  • Assists with transfers and discharge.
  • Maintains clean and neat stocked areas and patient rooms.
  • Keeps hallway clear of equipment.
  • Signs/initials documentation.
  • Reports any skin condition to RN.
  • Responds to overhead pages.
  • Participates in orientation of new employees as assigned.
  • Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards.
  • Safely transports and assists with patient positioning under anesthesia under the direction of surgeon, and nursing staff.
  • Regular and prompt attendance.
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
  • Related duties as required.
