Operating Room Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various surgical procedures and possess the necessary certifications to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the operating room
  • Required Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Schedule

This position requires a commitment to rotating 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.

On-Call Requirements

The Operating Room Nurse will also participate in a late shift call rotation and be available every fourth weekend.

Key Responsibilities

The Operating Room Nurse will assist in a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to:

  • Upper and lower endoscopies
  • General surgical procedures, both open and laparoscopic
  • Spinal surgeries
  • Total joint replacements (upper and lower)
  • Orthopedic sports medicine
  • Podiatry
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology procedures, including cesarean sections
  • Cardiac pacemaker insertions
  • Pain management procedures
