Job description

Position Overview
The Operational Technology (OT) Solution Specialist ensures successful completion of both company and client objectives at the project level. The primary focus is providing industrial technology solutions such as Industrial Control System (ICS) network design, industrial cybersecurity, IIOT, reporting and analytics. The OT Solution Specialist III leads and consults teams that deliver quality design, development, installation and fulfillment of processes and systems utilized for project execution.
Primary Job Functions
  • Provides technical leadership to project teams in design and development of solutions.
  • Provides technical consultation directly related to OT solutions.
  • Leads and participates in design and development of OT solutions such as ICS networks and industrial cybersecurity lifecycle with multiple team members.
  • Provides industrial network and cybersecurity lifecycle deliverables such as network diagrams, system architecture diagrams, zone and conduit diagrams, operating procedures.
  • Tests, troubleshoots and provides solutions to technical problems and assists others with technical needs.
  • Writes computer software and programs as necessary.
  • Leads project teams for design, installation, commissioning, project closure and inspections/reporting.
  • Able to read and interpret technical documentation (Process Control Network diagrams, schematics, manuals, etc.).
  • Interfaces with the customer / vendor on project technical requirements.
  • Responsible for overall compliance and quality of projects.
  • Responsible for delivery of all project tasks within allotted project budget.
  • Contributes to project scope and budget development.
  • Provides project level consultancy and client service.
  • Manages multiple internal team members and technical subcontractors.
  • Promotes Project Methodology and best practices.
  • Participates and may lead the following project tasks:
    • Project Kickoff
    • System Design / Procurement
    • Programming / Configuration
    • FAT
    • SAT / Commissioning
    • Close-out Documentation

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relevant Technical degree), and 10 years of Operational Technology or related experience, or a minimum of 15 years of Operational Technology or related experience (includes relevant intern, co-op, or basic work experience).
  • Great understanding of industry standards (ISA, CISA, NIST) specifically related to ICS networks and cybersecurity.
  • Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certification.
  • Ability to obtain GIAC certifications such as Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (GCIP).
  • Knowledge of various Industrial Control Systems networks, protocols, and Layer 3+ solution applications.
  • Broad understanding of all components involved in OT systems from end device to control room to enterprise level.
  • Knowledge of multiple industry standards (ISA, CISA, NIST).
  • Proficient at reading and interpreting technical documentation (Process Control Network diagrams, schematics, manuals, etc.).
  • Ability to travel offshore when necessary.
  • Reliable personal transportation with valid liability insurance.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English.
  • Available for after-hour, weekend and holidays.
  • Available for overnight and extended travel.
