Job description

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists all operating room personnel with support services in all areas of the operating room. Is usually assigned to one specific shift and unit, but will be required to work other shifts. Carries out general and specific housekeeping activities essential to keeping the operating room facilities clean and orderly. Maintains good guest and working relations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Must read, write and speak English, must be able to understand written and oral instructions, keep records, and do simple arithmetic. Six months of practical experience in operating room functions is preferred. Training in CPR and operating room procedures is preferred.
