This opportunity offers an engaging role for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technician (ORT) to support surgical teams. The primary focus is to facilitate safe, efficient operating room procedures and maintain the highest standards of patient care.
Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position; specific schedule details provided during interview.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent OR Tech qualifications.
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Previous experience in a hospital OR environment preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are present and functioning.
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere strictly to infection control protocols.
