Job description

Operating Room Environmental Services Attendant


Location: NEBRASKA MEDICAL CENTER - 48014001

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours, and rotating weekends. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $17.36 - $19.50

What You'll Do: As an Operating Room Environmental Services Attendant at Sodexo, you are a hygiene hero and planet protector. You will deliver a high-quality cleaning service to create a safe and healthy environment. Your passion for cleaning has a positive impact on the patients and hospital staff that you support.  


Responsibilities include:

  • Clean and maintain specified areas within the Perioperative Suites. Follow hospital regulations/policies regarding cleaning, biohazard waste disposal, linen distribution, restocking and communication with ancillary departments as needed. 
  • May be called to assist in an OR suite with limited patient care, i.e., assisting with moving, transporting, or aiding the RN Circulator with limited patient contact.
  • Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
