Job description

OR RN – Operating Room

Shift: 3x12 day shifts (start times may vary). Required weekends.

Assignment Details

Assignment length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks; may be called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.

Requirements
  • 2 years RN experience preferred; minimum 1 year acceptable.
  • Valid RN license in the state required (must have in hand for auto offer).
  • Required certification: BLS; preferred certs: ACLS, CNOR.
  • Patient ratio: 1:1.
  • References: 2 required, covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
  • Experience in general surgery and specialty cases including trauma, ortho, neuro, gyn, urology, ENT, vascular, pediatrics, and bariatric preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Scrub and/or circulate in surgical procedures.
  • Provide quality patient care in the operating room.
  • Assist in trauma and emergency cases.
  • Maintain sterile techniques and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient operations.
Compliance / Notes

Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. All RTO requests must be submitted upfront.
