JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Registered Nurse - Operating Room
RN - OR
Full-Time
Registered Nurse candidates for the Operating Room will have the following job responsibilities:

  • Supervises and directs patient care in a single operating room
  • Organizes time, equipment, supplies, and personnel to provide effective and efficient case management
  • Provides nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered
  • Confirms that proper techniques and procedures are used according to accepted standards of practice
  • Assists in inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-
Registered Nurse - Operating Room
RN - OR
Full-Time
Registered Nurse candidates for the Operating Room must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing required.
  • BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program preferred.
  • Specialty certification preferred.
  • One (1) year RN Perioperative (operating room) circulating experience in an acute care setting required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state in which nurse will be practicing at date of hire.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire.

Pay Rate: $$47.40 - $74.48/hour
