The Restaurant Operator / General Manager will lead the daily operations of a casual dining establishment, managing a large team of 25+ employees. This role requires comprehensive oversight of staffing, inventory, financials, and customer satisfaction to ensure a high-quality dining experience and efficient business performance. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards and fostering positive vendor and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a large team of 25+ staff, ensuring effective training and development
  • Oversee inventory control and vendor relations to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and continuous quality assurance
  • Direct full financial control including profit and loss management and budget oversight
  • Plan and coordinate restaurant operations and marketing efforts
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement staff scheduling and conflict resolution strategies
  • Manage facility maintenance to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
