An International company with a facility near Farmington, MI is currently seeking an Applications and Process Engineer for direct hire opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for experienced Electrical Controls Engineers looking for a company that offers excellent management, career growth, development, and competitive rates.

Senior Electrical Controls Field Service Engineer will be working a full-time day shift with occasional work on weekends and nights, with pay anticipated to be between $85,000 - $100,000 based on each candidate’s experience and education. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We offer excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, vacation/PTO, bonuses, and more.

Qualified Applications and Process Engineers will possess most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Experience with abrasive metal removal processes in manufacturing settings

·         Understanding of grinding metal removal processes

·         Experience selecting appropriate abrasive types for different manufacturing applications

·         Experience using 2D CAD software

·         Experience using 3D modeling software for parts and assemblies

·         Excellent understanding of dimensional tolerancing and geometric tolerancing

·         Excellent competency with Microsoft Office software programs including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

·         Excellent organization skills

·         Excellent communication skills

·         3 years of experience in a manufacturing sector or performing similar job functions as described in the job responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Experience setting up and operating manual and NC/CNC controlled grinding machinery

·         Experience performing tool touch off and tool change over of metal removal or grinding machinery

·         5 years of experience providing direct support for high precision grinding, microfinishing, or superfinishing processes

·         Proficient in the use of 3D modeling software for parts, assemblies, and drawings

·         Associates of Science Degree

·         Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Related Field of Study
