Job Title: CNC Fabrication Engineer
Location: Peoria, IL

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Fabrication Engineer to support CNC machining operations, fixture design, automation projects, and manufacturing process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CNC programming, SolidWorks, fixture design, and automated manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate Haas, Mazak, DMG, and other CNC machining centers using G-Code/NC Code.
  • Design and develop fixtures, jigs, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), and 3D models using SolidWorks.
  • Support automated welding work cells, product builds, and manufacturing process development.
  • Create Bills of Materials (BOMs), interpret mechanical drawings, and collaborate with automation teams during equipment qualification.
  • Train technicians and operators on CNC processes, equipment, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Support equipment installation, system integration, and travel to customer sites as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Technical Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, or production operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CNC programming (G-Code/NC Code), Mastercam, SolidWorks, and fixture design.
  • Experience with Haas, Mazak, or DMG machining centers.
  • Knowledge of CAD, manufacturing processes, and automation equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills. Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
