This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
Attention Fun Seekers and Adventurers! We're seeking a compassionate, outgoing companion in the Madison area who knows their way around town. Do you love activities and knocking things off your bucket list, like the opera, ballet, or events that sound super fun? Are you passionate about assisting others to fulfill this as well? If you think the sky is the limit and life should be well lived, this may be the position for you!
Hours: Up to 12 Hours a week (flexible based on the member's needs!)
Compensation: $18.00 per hour with mileage compensation
Requirements:
• Must pass a background check before hire
• Must have Valid Driver's license/vehicle insurance/reliable vehicle
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• MUST like Guinea Pigs, as client has two cuties
• Must have an understanding of boundaries, and be empathetic of struggles with physical limitations
Duties:
• Support member with engaging activities in the Madison community
• Provide Transportation up to 50 miles per month
• Assist member in exploring what Madison has to offer
• Provide Companionship while on Outings and be a natural support
• Be encouraging while respecting personal diagnosis
• Be mindful of surroundings and ensure safety/space of member
