Responsibilities:

The Director of Housekeeping leads all housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and service standards throughout the resort. Reporting to the Director of Rooms, this role oversees staffing, training, quality assurance, and daily operations while fostering a culture of accountability, team development, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a hands-on luxury hospitality leader with a passion for excellence and creating exceptional guest experiences.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Align with the Director of Rooms to maximize hotel operations.
  • Foster an environment that ensures consistency and a high level of guest satisfaction and accountability.
  • Strive to improve guest and team member satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.
  • Ensure and maintain cleanliness, service, and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.

Must-Have Skills:

  1. Luxury Housekeeping Leadership – Proven experience leading housekeeping operations within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
  2. Team Development & Coaching – Strong ability to recruit, train, motivate, and retain high-performing housekeeping teams

Nice to Have Skills:
