Title: SAP Developer Contractor - OpenText xECM Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Developer Contractor specializing in OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) for SAP. In this role, you will develop, customize, and integrate OpenText xECM solutions with SAP environments (including S/4HANA and Ariba). You will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to deliver robust, secure, and user-friendly document management solutions that enhance business processes and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, administer, and upgrade OpenText xECM components (Content Server, Archive Server, OTDS).
  • Develop and customize workflows, reports (Live Reports, WebReports), and metadata models.
  • Build role-based Smart UI interfaces for business users.
  • Integrate OpenText xECM with SAP systems (S/4HANA, Ariba, third-party systems).
  • Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and manage SAP authorizations for OpenText access.
  • Perform OSS Note analysis, environment health checks, and upgrades.
  • Develop ABAP customizations to support xECM integrations.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to xECM configuration and SAP integration.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 6-9+ years of experience with OpenText xECM for SAP.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Content Server, Archive Server, OTDS administration.
  • Proven experience with metadata management, workflow design, and Smart UI interface development.
  • Deep understanding of SAP integration, including S/4HANA and Ariba.
  • ABAP development experience for SAP/OpenText customization.
  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP web services and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
