Job Summary:
Compu-Vision Consulting Inc. is collaborating with Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW), the nation's largest municipally owned natural gas utility. They are seeking a highly advanced OpenText / NetIQ Infrastructure Engineer to support critical enterprise authentication, identity management, and infrastructure systems while also providing engineering support across OpenText and NetIQ technologies.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Support, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise OpenText and NetIQ environments
โ€ข Administer and support: eDirectory, Identity Manager (IDM), Open Enterprise Server (OES), NetIQ Access Manager (NAM), iPrint, Secure Single Sign-On (SSO), Privileged User Manager (PUM), Filr Standard, Self-Service Password Reset
โ€ข Perform upgrades, patching, configuration management, and issue remediation
โ€ข Troubleshoot authentication, identity synchronization, access management, directory replication, and infrastructure integration issues
โ€ข Support secure identity and access management operations across enterprise environments
โ€ข Assist with platform modernization and long-term infrastructure stability initiatives
โ€ข Support Microsoft Windows Server enterprise environments
โ€ข Support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud integrations
โ€ข Troubleshoot server, Active Directory, infrastructure connectivity, authentication, and Azure-related issues
โ€ข Assist with Azure administration, maintenance, and operational support
โ€ข Support enterprise infrastructure integrations between OpenText/NetIQ and Microsoft technologies
โ€ข Participate in infrastructure hardening, security remediation, and compliance initiatives
โ€ข Create and maintain highly detailed infrastructure documentation
โ€ข Develop: Systems diagrams, Infrastructure architecture documentation, Disaster recovery documentation, Support runbooks, Operational procedures, Audit documentation
โ€ข Participate in architecture reviews and infrastructure assessments
โ€ข Support proof-of-concept (POC) efforts and technology evaluations
โ€ข Contribute recommendations for operational improvements and modernization initiatives
โ€ข Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and escalation point for OpenText and NetIQ technologies
โ€ข Provide knowledge transfer and cross-training to internal infrastructure teams
โ€ข Support mentoring and technical guidance for other IS team members
โ€ข Collaborate with server, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams
โ€ข Participate in troubleshooting bridge calls and operational incidents
โ€ข Support production-critical systems in a high-availability enterprise utility environment
โ€ข Participate in after-hours and off-hours support activities as required
โ€ข Support production incidents, maintenance windows, upgrades, and emergency troubleshooting
โ€ข Maintain operational readiness and strong response times
โ€ข Assist with long-term infrastructure support continuity planning
