Job description

Now Hiring: Entry-Level Class A CDL Drivers - Starting Position
Looking to launch your trucking career but struggling to find a company that will hire you without OTR experience? We are ready to give you that opportunity and help you build a successful driving career.
Hiring area. Draw a line from Tampa over to Melbourne. We can only hire drivers north of that line.
Training & Experience Requirements
Applicants must have graduated from an accredited CDL Academy with at least 120 hours of training in the last 2 years. You must also be at least 21 years of age, hold a valid Class A license and DOT physical, and be able to pass a background check and all DOT-required tests (urine or hair). You must live north of Tampa ~Melbourne. You will need to provide copies of any accident reports from the last 5 years, and any tickets from the last 3 years.
What to Expect
Begin your career with 4 weeks of paid OTR training, earning $650 per week. During this training period, you will stay out on the road and gain real-world driving experience across the country. After training, you will meet with a terminal manager to choose a run from all of our open positions. Most positions are OTR, with home time every 10-14 days, though many regional openings are available with more frequent home time. Several local positions are available as well. Don't count on a local position fresh out of training.
Opportunities & Divisions
Presently, we have 23 openings for entry-level drivers with little or no OTR experience. We offer dry van, reefer, and flatbed divisions, including free 5-day flatbed training if you'd like to add that skill to your resume. Once you have your foot in the door, you can transition to regional or local positions as they become available. There are no contracts to sign, and you're free to change divisions when openings come up.
Compensation & Benefits
After completing your training and becoming a full-time driver, you will earn $1,300 - $1,600+ per week, depending on the position you choose. You will also be eligible for our full benefits package at 30 days:
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401k retirement plan
  • $10k company-paid life insurance
  • Disability insurance and paid vacation
  • CDL Academy tuition reimbursement (up to $1,000)
  • Free online college tuition through SNHU for you and one immediate family member
You'll drive late-model Freightliners (mostly automatics) and work with a team committed to your long-term success.

  • Hiring & Onboarding Process
Once your application is submitted, our HR team will contact you for a short phone interview to pre-qualify you. After approval, you will receive a link to complete the second part of your application, and we will schedule your driver orientation. We provide bus transportation to orientation or reimburse gas if you drive yourself. Breakfast and lunch are provided during orientation.
