Job description

Are you a sales professional with an entrepreneurial mindset, relevant industry and OpenAI experience, and a demonstrated ability to sell complex solutions? Deloitte Consulting LLP is seeking a high-performing Sales Executive to accelerate growth for its OpenAI Service Line across Cross Industry.

Recruiting for this role ends on 9/16/2026.

 Work you'll do

As a Sales Executive, you will develop and execute growth strategies, build executive relationships, and collaborate with Deloitte account teams and OpenAI to advance opportunities across the assigned territory. You will:

  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with OpenAI leaders and strategic partners, aligning joint objectives and serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Build and execute territory and account growth strategies that prioritize target accounts, industry plays, and high-value opportunities.
  • Guide and coach Deloitte account teams on solution positioning, market differentiation, and how to bring together Deloitte's capabilities with OpenAI technologies.
  • Create and execute joint account plans and co-sell motions with OpenAI, Deloitte account teams, and internal stakeholders to increase market penetration and customer acquisition.
  • Drive deal and proposal win strategies based on client and market knowledge, in collaboration with Deloitte account teams and OpenAI.
  • Collaborate with account teams and internal stakeholders to advance opportunities through pursuit coaching, content development, and day-to-day deal support.
  • Lead Executive Account Reviews and Sales Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with OpenAI leadership and Deloitte account teams. Set the agenda, use data to guide the conversation, and drive decisions, commitments, and follow-through.
  • Use market, pipeline, and performance data to develop recommendations that hold partners accountable to joint business plans and secure the investments needed to deliver growth.

The Team

The Sales Center of Excellence supports Deloitte businesses in identifying, nurturing, and closing sales opportunities. Working closely with Partners, Principals, Managing Directors, technology relationship leaders, and account teams, Sales Executives build relationships with qualified targets and decision-makers; shape growth strategies; lead pursuits; and serve as trusted advisors throughout the sales process.

The successful candidate would possess these skills:

  • A successful track record of selling software solutions and/or complex professional services.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic accounts, territory, and go-to-market plans that result in measurable revenue growth.
  • The ability to influence decision-makers at the highest levels of client and partner organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder pursuits with long sales cycles and significant revenue potential.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise software solutions and the broader technology marketplace.
  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach and the ability to mobilize cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into clear growth actions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience managing complex client relationships and selling into enterprise organizations.
  • Experience selling complex, project-based professional consulting services characterized by long sales cycles and a mix of large and small transactions.
  • Demonstrated success achieving revenue targets and managing a disciplined sales pipeline and forecast.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Experience with OpenAI, including its technology, go-to-market model, and partner ecosystem.
  • Established relationships with OpenAI executives, sales representatives, and channel leaders.
  • Experience selling through marketplace or partner-influenced commercial models.
  • Undergraduate degree; advanced degree preferred.
