Job description

Position Summary - Picking Associate:
The Picking Associate picks all Direct, Wholesale, International and MacKenzie-Child's Retail Store orders from inventory and delivers to the packing area for shipment. In addition, associates assist the Receiving Department by stocking incoming shipments of product as well as assist the gift wrappers pull orders as necessary.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)
85% Pick orders from inventory and deliver to packing area for shipment.
10% Assist Receiving Department by stocking incoming product on warehouse shelves.
5% Assist Gift Wrappers pick orders, as necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures in daily operations
  • Supporting other departments as needed to facilitate overall company operations
  • Demonstrating accountability, including decision-making and process improvements

Position Summary - Packing Associate:
The Packing Associate packs all Direct, Wholesale, International and MacKenzie-Child's Retail Store orders and prepares orders for shipment.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)
85% Pack and prepare orders for shipment ensuring proper box and packing materials are used to prevent damage.
5% Restock packing materials as needed to ensure productive work-flow.
10% Perform other duties, as assigned.

Position Summary: Major Accounts Associate
A Major Accounts Associate is responsible for executing daily operational tasks within their designated area(s) of responsibility, as it relates to the fulfillment of sales orders for the company's national retail accounts.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)
  • Process order fulfillment tasks in the pick, pack or ship areas of responsibility (AOR)
  • Complete assignments and maintain daily workflows in the AOR
  • Move of merchandise and materials through the AOR
  • Learn and maintain internal process requirements and client compliance standards in each phase of the fulfillment cycle
  • Utilize computers, mobile devices and manual means to record, document and report order fulfillment data
  • Maintain, track and report department equipment and material volumes
  • Maintain compliance to company policies, safety standards and workplace etiquette
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures in daily operations
  • Supporting other departments as needed to facilitate overall company operations
  • Demonstrating accountability, including decision-making and process improvements

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in the retail, e-commerce, distribution or related field is preferred

Special Requirements:
  • Ability to work overtime on a regular basis and occasionally on weekends
  • Ability to work in an open, warehouse environment
