Founded in 1925 and a leader in the production of Stainless Steels, Nickel Alloys and Titanium Long products, Valbruna is a private company with 2,800 employees and an annual output of approx. 250,000 tons of specialty steels. Production is primarily focused on Stainless Steels and Specialty Alloys, available in blooms and billets, ingots, round, square, flat, hexagonal and angle bars, wire rod, wire, reinforcement bars and threaded rods, with the expressed goal of satisfying the most sophisticated needs of the customer. To that end, Valbruna is constantly updating its production capabilities and experience.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Conveys material and items from receiving or other areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sorts and places material or items on racks or shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes for shipment.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders for shipping.
  • Marks material with identifying information.
  • Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Records amounts of material or items received or distributed.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance with company standards.
  • Uses computer to enter records.
  • Maintains inventory records.

  • Forklift experience preferred

  • Must be able to work safely in a fast paced distribution environment with forklift traffic, material, and machinery.
  • Hourly Rate $18 - $20
