We offer react-native tools, middle wear, and software orchestration through our community of developers. As well as a modular toolkit for creating custom AR glasses. As we rapidly grow, we provide enterprise support for creating augmented and virtual reality applications.


Our open-source users include The CocaCola company, Dior, The Food Network, Accenture.


Job summary:

The Xora Open Source team is looking for a Software Platform Director to join us in the US. 


In this role, you will establish guidelines for writing and modifying software according to Xora standards.


You will also streamline communication to partnering teams at Mozilla, Chromium, and other Open Source web projects. 


You will help orchestrate high-level platform changes, and work with the software development team, as well as external stakeholders, to fundraise for the 501c3 non-profit, as well as collaborate with the team to execute Changes.


The Platform Director's core responsibility is to work with users, internal development teams, and external developers and orchestrate a sustainable growth model for the rapidly growing open source project.


Job Description: 

  • Drive the development process.
  • Create guidelines for writing, modifying, and debugging software for external software contributors.
  • Establishes software quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance.
  • Documents and analyzes test results and make recommendations to improve overall quality.
  • Create, record, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.
  • Ensure that project documentation is created and is maintained
  • Understand the team's needs and voice concerns for budget improvements and growth.

Job Requirements: 

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years experience leading and developing applications for mobile/ web.
  • Exceptional integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • Acts and thinks like an owner/entrepreneur.
  • Self Motivated. And driven to seek mentorship.
  • Ability to work inter-departmentally to devise strategies with key stakeholders in mind.
  • Ability to work in both team environments and as an individual contributor.
  • High level of business maturity.

  3. Contract Negotiations (3rd week)
  4. 2-Week paid trial period
