Job description

We are currently looking to hire an Intelligence Analyst (OSINT)ย to join our team embedded with our client in Seattle! This position requires working onsite full-time at our client's Headquarters in Seattle, WA.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position requires rapid open-source (OSINT) investigations and assessments to identifyย potential threats and mitigate identified risks to corporate sites, travelers, events, and otherย assets in the Americas. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitaskย and provide deep-dive analysis on taskings pertaining to security concerns, including onย topics such as geopolitical conflict, terrorism, civil unrest, crime, and environmentalย hazards. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to work independently, review, andย assess large data sets, produce well-organized and clearly written products, and prioritizeย multiple requests in a fast-paced and challenging environment that requires significantย attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data with a strong understanding and application of analytical techniques. This includes conducting open-source strategic geopolitical and tactical/investigative research to develop analysis derived from large data sets.
  • Proactively identify and analyze relevant threats, sensitive developments, and trends to provide written assessments and oral briefings addressing imminent and long-term security implications for the business throughout the Americas.
  • Produce written strategic deep-dive analyses and tactical/investigative assessments in a cohesive, concise, and visually appealing format to serve customers across business lines who have an interest across threat vectors.
  • Identify gaps in current analysis and develop new solutions, methodologies, and products, including using AI, to help improve information collection and reporting, especially as it pertains to data-driven analysis. This also includes the creation of maps or other visuals and tools to support the team's products.
  • Perform thorough quick-turn and deep-dive open-source investigations and monitoring.
  • Support business continuity, crisis, and security management teams, including, as needed, outside typical work hours during security incidents and emerging crises.
  • Travel to support global events, if needed.
  • Conform to and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's degree (business, international relations, or security-related)
  • 2+ years of experience working in an analytical or intelligence roleย 
  • Experience with open-source research, investigation techniques, analysis, and report writing
  • Experience in intelligence, investigative, incident management, or related disciplines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to succinctly synthesize and assess information
  • Experience working with highly confidential information
  • Experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously and functioning with minimal supervision
  • This position requires up to 10% travel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years' experience working in an intelligence and/or analytical role; experience with geopolitics, criminal justice, security, or international business preferred
  • Proficient in multiple languages
