Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential (Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe or equivalent for California)
- Experience working with students requiring moderate to severe support needs

- Comfortable with data collection, progress monitoring, and behavior management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and support staff
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school setting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities based on IEPs
- Utilize evidence-based strategies and curriculum modifications to foster student growth and independence
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to ensure inclusive educational opportunities
- Engage families in the educational process, maintaining open and ongoing communication
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessment planning, and progress reporting
- Support students in developing social, academic, and functional life skills
